I provide assessment and treatment for a wide range of psychological difficulties and use an integrated approach that is personally tailored to suit everyone with whom I work. My specialist areas are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY
 

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a problem-focused approach that helps people with anxiety disorders and depression to identify and change their beliefs, thoughts, and patterns of behaviour. It suggests that the way we interpret an event affects our emotions, behaviour and physical responses.

THERAPY
 

Schema Therapy is an integrated therapy designed to help people with long-standing emotional difficulties and chronic lifelong problems that primarily originated from childhood experiences. The aim is to learn to meet your emotional needs through healthy relationships with others.

Compassion Focused Therapy helps people with chronic and long-standing problems who have a tendency to be very self-critical. It encourages the development of self-compassion to manage difficult emotions.
